Swan Lake at the London Coliseum is a new production from the internationally acclaimed State Ballet of Georgia. After a sold-out London season in 2024, the company returns with 12 performances in July.
The ballet tells the story of Prince Siegfried, the Swan Queen Odette and the evil sorcerer Rothbart, set to Tchaikovsky’s score. The production is described as lavish, with the State Ballet of Georgia known for its dancing, sumptuous sets and glorious costumes.
Under the artistic direction of Nina Ananiashvili, former prima ballerina with the Bolshoi, the company brings this classical work to the stage with power, precision and emotional depth. The New York Times has described the dancers as “versatile and accomplished”.
