About Kinky Boots

Kinky Boots at the London Coliseum is a new London production of the multi-award-winning musical, running from March 2026 for a strictly limited 17-week season. Starring Strictly Come Dancing’s Johannes Radebe, it is based on a true story and the much-loved film.

Winner of the Olivier Award for Best New Musical, Kinky Boots features Tony and Grammy Award-winning music and lyrics by Cyndi Lauper, with a book by Harvey Fierstein and direction by Nikolai Foster. The story follows Charlie Price as he tries to save his family’s failing shoe factory, and Lola, the drag queen whose ideas offer an unexpected way forward.

The show brings together friendship, individuality and a business in need of rescue, making it a clear choice for audiences looking for a musical with both energy and heart.

Strictly Come Dancing’s Johannes Radebe stars in the production. The role of Lola will be played by Tosh Wanogho-Maud on Thursday 26 March matinee, Friday 26 June, and all Monday performances from 6 April to 6 July.
