Kinky Boots at the London Coliseum is a new production of the multi-award-winning musical, opening in March 2026. Based on a true story and the much-loved film, it features music and lyrics by Cyndi Lauper, a book by Harvey Fierstein and direction by Nikolai Foster.

The story follows Charlie Price, who inherits his family’s failing shoe factory, and Lola, a drag queen whose ideas may help save the business. The show centres on friendship, individuality and helping each other move forward.

Winner of the Olivier Award for Best New Musical, Kinky Boots runs at the London Coliseum for 17 weeks only.

Starring Strictly Come Dancing’s Johannes Radebe, the production runs from March 2026.

Current cast

Strictly Come Dancing’s Johannes Radebe stars in the production. The role of Lola will be played by Tosh Wanogho-Maud on Thursday 26 March matinee, Friday 26 June, and all Monday performances from 6 April to 6 July.
