Kinky Boots at the London Coliseum is a brand-new production of the multi-award-winning musical, set to run in London from March 2026 for a strictly limited 17-week season. Starring Strictly Come Dancing’s Johannes Radebe, the show is based on a true story and the much-loved film, and follows Charlie Price as he tries to save his family’s failing shoe factory.

The story turns when Charlie meets Lola, a drag queen with an unexpected solution. With music and lyrics by Cyndi Lauper, a book by Harvey Fierstein and direction by Nikolai Foster, the production brings together an Olivier Award-winning musical, Tony and Grammy Award-winning songs, and a familiar story about friendship, individuality and keeping a business alive.

The show plays as a new London production at one of the city’s major theatres, making it a strong choice for audiences looking for a well-known musical with a clear storyline and established creative pedigree.

Before you book

No children under the age of 5 will be admitted to the auditorium. Relaxed performances and family friendly performances are sold only via the box office. The production’s cancellation policy states that there are no refunds or exchanges after purchase.

Johannes Radebe stars in the production. The role of Lola will be played by Tosh Wanogho-Maud on Thursday 26 March matinee, Friday 26 June, and all Monday performances from 6 April to 6 July.
