About Kinky Boots

Kinky Boots at the London Coliseum is a brand-new production of the multi-award-winning musical, starring Strictly Come Dancing’s Johannes Radebe. Running in London from March 2026 for a strictly limited season, it is based on an uplifting true story and the much-loved movie.

Winner of the Olivier Award for Best New Musical, Kinky Boots features music and lyrics by Cyndi Lauper, a book by Harvey Fierstein and direction by Nikolai Foster. The story follows Charlie Price, who inherits his family’s failing shoe factory and meets Lola, a drag queen with an idea that could help save the business.

A celebration of friendship and individuality, this production plays at the London Coliseum in a limited run.

Current cast

Kinky Boots stars Strictly Come Dancing’s Johannes Radebe. Due to a family matter, he will not perform on 26 June; the role of Lola will be played by Tosh Wanogho-Maud on Thursday 26 March matinee, Friday 26 June and all Monday performances from 6 April to 6 July.
