About Kinky Boots

Kinky Boots is at the London Coliseum, London. This multi-award-winning musical begins its strictly limited 17-week run in Spring 2026, with Strictly Come Dancing’s Johannes Radebe starring.

Based on an uplifting true story and the much-loved film, the show follows Charlie Price as he inherits his family’s failing shoe factory. When he meets Lola, a larger-than-life drag queen, the pair join forces to try to save the business and, along the way, help each other stand a little taller.

Featuring music and lyrics by Cyndi Lauper, a book by Harvey Fierstein and direction by Nikolai Foster, Kinky Boots won the Olivier Award for Best New Musical and has played in the West End and on Broadway.

Key facts: 17-week season only at the London Coliseum from March 2026.

Before you book

No children under the age of 5 will be admitted to the auditorium. Relaxed performances and family friendly performances are sold only via the box office.

Strictly Come Dancing’s Johannes Radebe stars as Lola, with Tosh Wanogho-Maud playing the role on Thursday 26 March matinee, Friday 26 June, and all Monday performances from 6 April to 6 July. Due to an unforeseen family matter, Johannes Radebe cannot perform on 26 June 2026.
