About Kinky Boots

Kinky Boots at the London Coliseum is a brand-new production of the multi-award-winning musical, running in London from March 2026. It stars Strictly Come Dancing’s Johannes Radebe.

Based on an uplifting true story and the much-loved film, the show follows Charlie Price as he tries to save his family’s failing shoe factory. His unlikely solution comes after he meets Lola, a sparkling drag queen who offers a very different way to turn the business around.

Winner of the Olivier Award for Best New Musical, Kinky Boots features Tony and Grammy Award-winning music and lyrics by Cyndi Lauper, a book by Harvey Fierstein and direction by Nikolai Foster. It is a story about friendship and individuality, set to a score with a strong stage pedigree.

Current cast

Kinky Boots stars Strictly Come Dancing’s Johannes Radebe. Due to an unforeseen family matter, Johannes can no longer perform on 26 June 2026. The role of Lola will be played by Tosh Wanogho-Maud on Thursday 26 March matinee, Friday 26 June, and all Monday performances from 6 April to 6 July.
