About Kinky Boots

Kinky Boots is at the London Coliseum in London from March 2026 for a strictly limited 17-week season. This new production stars Strictly Come Dancing’s Johannes Radebe and is based on an uplifting true story and the much-loved movie.

Winner of the Olivier Award for Best New Musical, Kinky Boots features music and lyrics by Cyndi Lauper, a book by Harvey Fierstein and direction by Nikolai Foster. The story follows Charlie Price, who inherits his family’s failing shoe factory, and Lola, the drag queen who may have the answer to saving the business.

Current cast

The production stars Strictly Come Dancing’s Johannes Radebe. Due to an unforeseen family matter, Johannes cannot perform on 26 June 2026. The role of Lola will be played by Tosh Wanogho-Maud on Thursday 26 March matinee, Friday 26 June and all Monday performances from 6 April to 6 July.
