With over 40 years of experience in the music industry, Shakatak has become a cult classic not just in the UK but with audiences worldwide. Their back catalogue is filled with classics such as "Night Birds" and "Down On The Street", solidifying their status as groove legends.

The band is comprised of the original four members, including Bill Sharpe on keys, Jill Saward on lead vocals, percussion and flute, Roger Odell on drums, and George Anderson on bass guitar. With the addition of a guitarist and a backing vocalist/saxophonist, their six-piece line-up produces a musically dynamic and entertaining show.

Their latest release, "In The Blue Zone" (2019), features guest appearances from top UK jazz singer Liane Carroll and Germany's super-star trumpeter Till Bronner.
