Summer Comedy Takeover at Liverpool Irish Centre
Summer Comedy Takeover
Headliner - to be announced, you will be frilled with who we have lined up!
Opening Act:
Lori Smith
Whilst being a relative newcomer to the stand up circuit Lori is quickly making a name for herself as a very capable act and MC. Her natural affability easily wins over even the toughest crowd and her quick wit ensure the laughs are delivered consistently.
Having already performed at some of the biggest clubs in the country and supported some huge touring comedians both in the UK and Europe, as well as creating her own comedy promotion ‘Chuckle Fuckers’, Lori draws on her colourful past and rich life experiences to form stories which set her material out from anyone else on the circuit right now. That combined with super confident crowd work means audiences are sure to be left sore from laughter. Not one to be missed!
Support Acts:
Che Burnley - "one of very few acts that are repeatedly requested back by audiences, consistently fantastic" (Trapdoor Comedy Manchester)
"It takes a special talent to deal with serious subjects with a suitably light touch and Che kept the audience laughing throughout." (Liverpool Comedy Festival)
"Instantly engaging, Che gets the audience laughing before he's even got on the stage. The laughs are as big as his character. A definite audience pleaser!" Ryan Gleeson (Comedy Station)
Francine Carlyle - Her autobiographical anecdotes of life are told with self deprecating wit and intense relatability has the audience in fits of laughter.
Alexander Tighe - "Leading the fightback for ginger people everywhere - Alex will have you uncontrollably laughing from the moment he steps on stage" - Yellow Arch Comedy
