A night of stand-up comedy to remember; with a line-up jam packed with hilarious Irish comics for this special month for Liverpool Irish Centre, as we build up to St Patricks Day!

Headliner: William Thompson has sold out shows across the UK and Ireland, appearing on BBC One, BBC Three and Channel 4. A finalist in the prestigious 2021 New Comedy Awards.

William is an actor, comedian and writer from Belfast, Northern Ireland. William made his on-screen acting debut on the Channel 4 pilot William of Orangedale, which he also co-wrote with fellow comedian Dave Elliott. The show went on to be the highest viewed pilot of the 2022 “Blapz” series for Channel 4.

William really is one of the best comedians around and he is only 25 or something ludicrous like that. Take a chance to see him, because this lad is destined for the biggest comedy stages in the world.

I Saw William at Liverpool Hot Water Comedy Club with his solo show (Nov 23) 'The hand you're dealt' - "this guy is top class and just smashed it out the park! He will be a massive hit for the Comedy Takeover!" - Devine Comedy

Opener: Mick Moran was the best comic of the night at the Comedy Showdown at Bootle FC. He smashed his set at Liverpool Irish Centre (June 23) and won a place in the Tempest Comedian of the year final 2023/24.

Mick is back at the Irish centre by popular demand with his hilarious well delivered one liner jokes that will have you rolling around in laughter wanting more.

Mark Devine- 'Relatively new to stand up, Mark has confidence of a seasoned performer with his funny stories & anecdotes about his life' Allan Finnegan BGT semi finalist. 'Mark at the Bijou, Southport delivered a very solid performance. He gets better every time I see him' Kevin O'Brien - Comedy Gold.

Daniel McCreanor a runner up in the world series of beat the frog 2023, and is the current Southport 8 Mile comedian of the year (2023).  Daniel has been described as "an oddball outsider" - Chortle, and he completely agrees.

Mike Carter is an up and coming comedian on the UK comedy scene and is fast becoming a fixture on the North West circuit and beyond.

Combining classic Scouse wit with contemporary observations of post University life and pop culture, Mike has won audiences over with a warm hearted delivery of some wry jabs. He is fast becoming in demand at all the major clubs.

His whole performance was excellent. This was a smashing set by Carter.  NOTTS COMEDY REVIEW
