Rebuilding the park at Rowan Park...
The park affectionately known as the RAP, holds a special significance for the community and the school for various reasons. Since its establishment in 2014, the park has served as a sanctuary not only for the SEN pupils at the school but also for the broader community extending from Liverpool to Halton.

The park's design and features were carefully crafted to be inclusive, accommodating all individuals regardless of ability. The innovative key fob system provided a safe and controlled environment for everyone to enjoy, promoting a sense of belonging and unity among users.

The unfortunate closure of the park due to safety concerns has left a void in the hearts of those who frequented its grounds. The absence of this communal space has been keenly felt by the SEN families and pupils who found solace, joy, and a sense of freedom within its boundaries.

The community effort to raise funds for the reconstruction of the park is not merely about restoring physical structures; it is about rebuilding a symbol of community, inclusivity, and hope. By bringing back the RAP, we are not only providing an essential recreational space but also reinstating a place of unity and shared experiences for all who visit.

Bringing back the spirit of the RAP is crucial not just for the school but for the entire community, as it represents a testament to resilience, determination, and the unwavering support for individuals with special needs. Let us come together to rebuild not just a park, but a haven where memories are made, friendships are nurtured, and inclusivity reigns supreme.
