Coco Maria is a selector, curator and radio host with impeccable taste. 

Hailing originally from Mexico, and now based in Europe, she specialises in Brazilian, South and Central American, and Caribbean wax. Irresistable slices of Latin, Jazz, Cumbia and all sorts of rarities from sunny, far off places and all mixed with her irrepressible energy and original style. 

2023 saw the release of her second 'Club Coco' compilation on Bongo Joe Records, the follow up to her widely acclaimed debut release in 2021, which placed her at front and centre as one of the most exciting new DJs around. 

This latest LP is a fascinating and riotous snapshot of artists on the frontiers of contamporary musical discovery. 

Alongside this Coco Maria continues to spread the Club Coco mission far and wide, broadcasting her beloved weekly radio show (formerly on Gilles Peterson's Worldwide FM), as well as creating unique Club Coco events at clubs and festivals. 

2024 also saw her launch her globetrotting 'Algo Ritmos' clubnight with former Otra guest Cosmo Sofi. The first of which was in Berlin earlier in the year, with dates in other cities planned for the rest of the year.
