The Peepul Centre

BrightLights Theatre School opened in Loughborough in 2011 and launches a second school in Leicester from September 2013, both centres providing quality, affordable performing arts training for young people. The school is run by Nick Sutcliffe, originally from Loughborough and a graduate of Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts in London. He has 17 years experience in the West End, regional theatre, TV and Commercials. Nick has also worked extensively as a director and choreographer, recently having directed four abridged Shakespeare plays at Thre Bristol Old Vic as part of the BBC One Night Of Shakespeare, as well as teaching and delivering workshops all over The UK. Students are arranged into groups by age, and every week have one hour each of drama, singing and dance lessons. They not only learn to act, sing and dance, but at the same time their self confidence grows, they learn to work as a team, to use and stretch their imaginations, to speak clearly and confidently, and so much more! BrightLights is very much connected to the industry with regular guest teachers from Londons West End, TV and Film. Guest teachers so far have included cast members from "Wicked", "The Phantom of the Opera", "Coronation Street" and "Mamma Mia" to name a few, with many more to come!
