Hangar 42

Bruntingthorpe boasts its own unique events centre situated in the heart of Leicestershire, an extensively refurbished aircraft hangar, fully equipped to support large corporate hospitality and social events. The hangar, a 35,000 sq. ft. building, includes a kitchen area, washroom facilities and a vast 29,000 sq. ft. of event space. The refurbishment project saw the installation of highly insulated walls, a brand new heating system, a built-in PA system, roving microphones, coloured LED floodlights and individually programmable lights. Suitable for gala dinners, exhibitions, charity events and product launches, the Hangar ’42 Events Centre is a truly unique space. We offer the venue as a blank canvas for customers to decorate and arrange as they wish. The main hall itself is completely free of additional support structures, leaving a wide-open space to work with. We have hosted events that require stages, catwalks and even a full TV studio within the walls of the hangar and can cater for more unusual requests such as circus performers requiring a practice arena. Serviced by a 400-vehicle carpark and in easy reach of the M1, Bruntingthorpe’s Hangar ’42 is the only place for your next corporate event.
