They unapologetically, f**king LOVE the 90s. Blending 60s melodies and the raw edge of the grunge revival, BLACK SURF found their collective escape.
Their debut Album - Let's Pretend It's Summer, released Feb 14th, brings an old school 'Weezeriness' and honesty that could soundtrack the highest highs & the lowest of lows. Having toured alongside DZ DEATHRAYS, Lonely The Brave, and Dune Rats.
SLAPPSTIKK
A Leeds-born Clown-Rock band, on a quest to erase coulrophobia. Nefarious energies emanate from this clown crew's full-force foolery on the stage; join the circus, be down to clown.
Expect mosh-worthy riffs, stupid lyrics, and an opportunity to commit acts of violence against at least one (1) clown. SLAPPSTIKK loves you.
IO
Their mantra is “Music you can RAGE to”. They have perfected their modern metal groove with a cinematic edge and have burst onto the scene with brazen lyrics, roaring riffs and powerhouse vocals. IO are winning Leeds over gig by gig and you’re next.
WE CAN’T STAY SAFE
They blend the raw honesty of modern emo with the high-energy grit of guitar rock. Fusing the DNA of bands like The Hotelier and Spanish Love Songs, they trade in emotional lyrics and driving dynamics. It’s alt-rock that’s as much about the catharsis of a breakdown as it is the pure fun of playing it.
