On 31st December in an explosive ground-breaking move, we see LIT Ibiza Takeover take over two lavish venues for their notorious NYE party set to redefine the New Year’s Party experience with the launch of their Supa Lit VIP floor at their NYE extravaganza. The event promises an evening of unrivalled energy, style and unmissable selectors/music for nightlife aficionados and … fans alike. LIT Ibiza Takeover will bring its unique festival feel to the exclusive setting of Angelica, having carved out its own niche and a cult following for its legendary sold-out parties.

Not only will they be taking over the infamous Angelica, but they have also secured the floor below, fine dining restaurant Crafthouse launch of their exclusive Supa Lit VIP.

LIT Ibiza Takeover’s unique boutique festival feel that has really developed it’s own niche in the Leeds party scene with a loyal cult following and never failed sold out epic terrace parties.

Infamous DJ/Producer Sara Garvey is the boss behind LIT, powering its supa star status, and curating fresh DJ line ups that keep LIT at the forefront of the UK’s party scene: ‘I’m so proud of what LIT has achieved over the years. I had no idea it would take off the way it did, starting with a series of Sunday parties at Angelica with ‘Cafe del Mar’, and just getting better and better from there. The main floor of the L/IT Ibiza Takeover NYE party will be hosted in Angelica transforming thestunning 300-capacity rooftop venue, boasting a panoramic glass terrace overlooking a city skylineinto a  beautifully lavish, luxe playground for the glitterati.Supplied with a menu of high end cocktails and an enviable champagne list. L/IT’s treasure chest of World-renowned DJs will play through a cutting-edge soundsystem, creating an electric atmosphere that beats with the pulse of Ibiza’s epic party scene.

SUPA LIT VIP is Garvey’s brand new baby and extension of Ibiza Takeover, has an intriguing private members feel to it, however Garvey insists this membership extends to everyone in LIT’s uniquely inclusive way.

On New Year's Eve, Crafthouse is reserved as an entire floor exclusively for Supa Lit VIP members & ticket holders. Transforming the restaurant into a supa luxe LIT experience, complete with top end sound system and magical sets from the incredible DJs booked. This will be the destination for VIP tables with dedicated hostesses & table service that promise to cater to your every desire.

Kicking of the night in Crafthouse is an atmospheric sexy & seductive lounge vibe pre-party at 18:30 with a complimentary premium champagne & canapé + Oyster entrance & entertainment that includes an NPR style unplugged live band (with reported violin section to boot) & top secret special guest vocal performances, before seamlessly moving on to the 1st DJ set of the night setting up the NYE experience like never before.

DJ MATT ‘JAM’ LAMONT

Headlining the festivities is none other than Matt 'Jam' Lamont is an absolute legend in the UK Dance scene! A pioneer, respected DJ, an accomplished producer/remixer, label / A&R manager and radio presenter, Matt ‘Jam’ Lamont has been an intrinsic part of the UK Dance scene from its very inception.

Teaming up with the incredible DJ Karl 'Tuff Enuff' Brown to form the legendary production/remixing duo known as Tuff Jam quite literally becoming the driving force behind the UK dance scene churning out one classic anthem after another.

Matt Jam Lamont has held a 15-year residency in Ibiza and continues to be in high demand as a DJ playing at some of the biggest festivals in the world, including Glastonbury, Parklife, and Eastern Electric and international hotspots like Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan, USA, Canada, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, Cyprus, Spain, Ibiza (where he won BEST UNDERGROUND DJ AWARD 2002) and Las Vegas.

DJ SMOKEY BUBBLIN B

Following Lamont comes Smokey Bubblin’ B, one of the most active Dss & Producers in the House & Garage scene. 1st booked in Leeds by LIT Ibiza Takeover.  Smokey has previously had releases on the likes of DJ EZ’s Nuvolve label, Low Steppa’s Simma Black and even more recently Seb Zito’s Seven Dials imprint. Having totted up official remix credits for the likes of Groove Armada, Audio Bullys and Maverick Sabre, Smokey Bubblin’ B brings his boundary-pushing House, Garage & Bass to LIT’s event this NYE.

DJ SARA GARVEY

Curator and boss of LIT Ibiza Takeover is Sara Garvey, who comes next on the lineup. DJ, singer, producer, label owner and all-round visionary, Sara is one of the most respected and sought-after female selectors, with impressive credits and collaborations to her name: MJCole, Nightmares on Wax and Chris Martin to name a few. This summer Garvey, alongside Chicago house legend Steve Silk Hurley, released her single ’All I Need’ on the Hardtimes Record label. Gaining heavy rotation on BBC Radio1, being named track for the week on Pete Tong’s essential selection with Paul Woolford, and support from the Blessed Madonna.

Firm favourite DJ at Lost Village Festival, We Out Here Festival, Beatherder and many more, Sara brings her distinctive sound to the night mixing soulful jazz, vocals and broken beat house for an unforgettable set.

DJ GROOVE ASSASSIN

Groove Assassin in name and reputation! This DJ / Producer was a frontrunner with LIT Ibiza Takeover summer party, bringing soulful deep house tracks to the line-up - think disco and boogie paired with warm smooth vocals and contemporary jazz instrumentals. His credentials - Defected Records, Glasgow Underground and Head Kandi - are such that he is in demand across the globe and touches down in Leeds this New Year to add his unique set to an epic line up of selectors.

DJ MARTIN

DJ & producer Martin joins LIT’s line up as a musical genius and certified house legend. Long-time family friend to Sara (their parents lived next door to each other)

Martin 1st found fame with Warp Record’s band LFO when their track also named LFO hit the top of the UK charts. Keeping his head under the radar Martin popped up and joined Garvey for this summer’s LIT Ibiza Sunday Sessions and will be holding fort in Crafthouse’s SUPA LIT VIP area. Martin’s skill, track selection and ear really are something special.

DJ ALTO

Fast rising UK talent ALTO is making his entry into the world of Tech House at an impressive pace. Championed by the likes of Ibiza Global Radio, Blanc Audio and Techno Bible plus with over a million plays on Soundcloud, it is safe to say the hotly tipped youngster is already making a lot of noise. He brings his signature sound of underground tech house with a fusion of hip hop & Romanian minimal vocals for a set that will ignite imaginations and get people moving.
