Vladimir McTavish: 30 Years Still Standing Up (Preview)
'One of the finest acts on the Scottish comedy circuit' (Guardian) celebrates three decades of the Fringe.
1994 joint-winner of the Strathmore Water Comedy Award. Sadly, he’s won f*ck all since. 'Superb' (Scotsman).
In 1994, Vladimir McTavish won the Strathmore Water Comedy Award on his first appearance at the Edinburgh Fringe. He never received the award and he’s won f*ck all since.
However, in 2020, he finally received the trophy. This 2024 Edinburgh Fringe show, celebrating three decades in comedy, will be a hilarious mix of anecdotes of a lifetime in the business and an excuse to crowbar in some back catalogue.
'Nothing short of superb' (Scotsman).
'Takes amiable yet strident swipes against the horrors in store' (Scotsman).
