Playing The Field 2026

Playing The Field Festival takes place Saturday 23rd - Sunday 24th May 2026.

Playing The Field Festival is held at Silverlake Stadium in Eastleigh.

No! Saturday is Playing The Field's family event with children of all ages. Sunday the 25th is Playing The Field's Dance in the Field event that is strictly over 18s only! A Valid form of ID will be required on entry.

Doors for Playing the Field Festival open at 12:00 PM, and the event runs until 10:00 PM each day.

No, only food and drinks purchased on-site at Playing the Field Festival are allowed. Milk and snacks for toddlers/small children are  allowed on the Saturday. 

A variety of street food vendors will be serving global cuisines. Bars will offer craft beers, cocktails, and soft drinks. Free drinking water stations will be available throughout the festival site.

There will be plenty of vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options from the food vendors.

Playing The Field have a variety of food options available on site that cater to common dietary requirements and allergies. However, if you’d prefer to bring your own food for medical reasons, that’s absolutely fine – just let them know in advance and provide some supporting medical documentation.

For everyone’s safety, any external food brought into the event must be nut-free and will be checked upon arrival.

Please note: no alcohol may be brought onto the site under any circumstances.

No, anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult to Playing the Field Festival. Saturday is family-friendly, and children aged 0–15 can attend with a family or child ticket.

Yes! Saturday at Playing the Field Festival is packed with family-friendly activities, including circus school, funfair rides, character meet-and-greets, and live performances for all ages.

– Parking:On-site parking is available for £15 per car per day. Parking must be booked in advance and is subject to availability, so secure your spot early!

– Disabled Parking: Accessible parking is available, but spaces are limited and must also be booked in advance.

– By Train: The nearest train station is Southampton Airport Parkway, just a 5-minute taxi ride from the festival site.

 – By Bus: Hop on the Bluestar number 2 bus from Southampton to Fair Oak. It stops at St. Nicholas Church and the Concorde Club on Stoneham Lane, both just a short walk from the festival grounds.

Yes, parking will be available on-site at Playing the Field Festival for a small fee. Pre-booking is recommended.

The Playing the Field Festival car park opens at 11AM and closes at 11:00 PM. (Cars must not be left overnight!)
