When I walked in I was a bit concerned that all I was getting was a few images on a wall with moody audio. However, I had a great time. Granted the initial welcome and common space needed some work to enhance the experience; the space felt a bit empty on the outside of the immersive experience and I think for art you should feel what the artist is trying to share with you from start to finish. On the other hand the immersive experience was truly captivating, it made me feel so connected with nature. Not only that but it also invoked a feeling of responsibility and nurture in me  because it highlighted our direct connection with the algae and by extension nature. With a bit more funding this experience can be excellent!

Centrespace Gallery situated in the heart of Bristol is home to up and coming talent across the South West. The gallery actively seeks to show unique and diverse work across all mediums of art including painting, sculpture, installation, printmaking and performance. Exhibitions range from solo shows to group shows and there is always something worthwhile to see.

The entry to the gallery is free and private views are often held on Friday nights. Programmes are available from the gallery and across various venues in Bristol
