About

Embark on an illuminating exploration of Carl Jung's groundbreaking insights into the human psyche. Beyond his roles as a scientist and psychologist, Jung's trajectory led him to become a captivating figure within the New Age movement. Join Jungian Psychotherapist Max Noak in dissecting Jung's life and work, which often traversed the delicate balance between scientific rigour and mysticism. Delve into spiritual themes, precognitive dreams, the Shadow, synchronicity, and Jung’s oft-misunderstood Red Book. Explore the connection between psychological and mythopoeic language, and how Jungian theory can be used as a guide into the depths of the self.

Doors open at 6pm, talk starts at 7pm - come down early to grab a good seat!

Max Noak is a Jungian Psychotherapist in Bethnal Green. Originally from East Germany, he has an interest in how history and ancestors live on in our souls. He studied theology for the priesthood and has followed a path of mystical prayer that led him to delve into the unconscious and train as a Jungian with the Society of Analytical Psychology. Max is a part of the ‘Circle of Analytical Psychologists’ that systematically studies Jung’s visionary journey of the Red Book and the Black Books, and edits the magazine of the C G Jung Club London.
