Grime N Bassline - ESF 21st Birthday

Pure vibes and maximum energy all night in the heart of Digbeth, Birmingham - where the music culture thrives and people reign in from all over the nation to see some of the maddest and most authentic music events in the country.

Reigniting the spark on both the bassline and grime scene which originally flourished prominently in Birmingham, our debut event hopes to deliver a night which will go down in history as one of the biggest celebrations of recent times.

This is an event created for the love and passion of the music. Every single artist on the night will be performing a diverse, high energy set from start to finish, aiming to move away from the generic and over-used tunes that we feel are leaking into a lot of music events recently. We want to help revive what has been lost over the years in these genres which helped build the foundations for the street culture in our city.

The DJs and MCs on the night really need no introduction at all. We have constructed an insane line-up of some of the most decorated and legendary artists to come out of Brum and the Black Country, along with some of the brightest up and coming talents spinning some riddims all night long.

10-11 CALDAV - Opening the night we have a Sheffield's very own CALDAV, playing some rare and classic 4x4 and speed garage. Playing at multiple events in the home of bassline, the steel city, he has also performed at this years Leeds festival and continues to push the sound forward introducing a lot of hidden gems into his sets.

11-12 FNS - Next up shelling out some real bassline, we have FNS, who for years now has been absolutely dominating the scene with some of the most unique and detailed production from any artist you will ever see. With multiple releases on Off Me Nut Records, Stomp n Wonk, RevZ Audio and more, this guy is an absolute credit to the bassline scene and has been pushing the authentic 4x4 sound for a long, long time.

12-1 Sox - It is with great pleasure that on our debut event and for such a special celebration we can present to you one of the sickest to ever do it. The golden days of grime was heavily influenced by Sox, and still to this day is the most notable and influencial grime artist to ever come out of Birmingham. His tunes really helped put Birmingham on the map and played a massive part in the scene all over the country. Everyone knows him from the days banging out his tunes with their mates before school, catching that unique flow and wordplay gassing everyone up. More decorated than we can even mention in just a few sentences. He has worked with some of the other grime icons such as Skepta, Jammer, Bugzy Malone, but you might also know him from Lord of the Mics, JDZ Media, SBTV, Radio 1Xtra or more recently a legendary set with Daseplate. Seeing him spitting some bars in his hometown will be special and we are so gassed to see it.

1-2 Breeza w/ ESF - Another MC who has been tearing up the scene for years is Breeza coming in from WV. Voted best MC by Basshive last year, Breeza is one of the most iconic voices in bassline music ever. He has worked with the best DJs and producers such as J69, Pantha, Daseplate, Mac Real, The Illustration, Mudz and many more, his voice is also on some of the worlds biggest 4x4 labels such as 1Forty, Project All Out Records and Bassboat. Alongside him, spinning some classic 4x4 bassline tunes and some of his unreleased production work, ESF on his 21st birthday will be delivering a set to shut down the whole rave and get everyone gassed with his bass heavy sounds he has recently jumped onto the scene with. Also coming out of the Black Country, ESF has learnt from some of the legends in the game and has heavily intergrated himself into the bassline scene in the short time he has been involved. With a release on RevZ Audio, some forthcoming releases on some other labels with decorated artists such as Breeza himself, the future is bright for this young and enthusiastic artist, and he has been praised highly by a lot of the legends in the game while performing multiple sets all over the country.

2-3 Sskkizzrr b2b Buckey - Another 2 young and talented selectas who share a lot of musical knowledge and deep love for variety in music. The energy these 2 bring individually is groundbreaking and together they are going to provide you all with a whole array of different genres to keep the whole crowd wanting more. They have both been proven to electrify a crowd full of people, taking everyone on a journey through music with exciting basslines and unexpected turns to get everyone bouncing.

3-4 Reedy b2b Stanlee w/ Carbo & AJB - These are the absolute prodigies from the Black Country who can spin tunes like nothing you have ever seen before. The Black Country Beats takeover will be closing our night with a bass heavy set, hosted by Carbo and AJB who will be getting the crowd gassed in the final hour as the selectas deliver the grand finale. If you have ever been to a BCB event, you will know that these lot aren't your average DJs. Reedy will be coming through with some of his new unreleased production work, while Stan who usually prefers to mix vinyl, will be going back to back with him bringing the same excitement as always, adding the final touch to end our night in a perfect way.

We're also partnering up with some sick performers to bring even more vitality to each hour of music, there's also gonna be props and more surprises delivered throughout, for a massive party nobody will ever forget.

This event is a tied-in birthday celebration, so tickets will 100% sell out, and once they're gone, there will be no more available, and unfortunately, we can't reserve any extra tickets.
