About

Formed in Birmingham in the late 70s and equally infused with power of pop and punk, Cult Figures recorded a couple of singles for Swell Maps Rather Records, after which they slipped into obscurity. They seemed destined to become, er, cult figures until a hugely successful comeback in 2018. Their 2021 release "Deritend" made numerous year end "Best Ofs..." and 2023 release "Between Us And Heaven" confirmed their latter day chemistry.
