Shy One (Mali Larrington-Nelson) is one of London's most versatile and forward-thinking DJs and producers. Starting out on pirate radio as a teenager, she quickly carved her own distinctive sound-catching the attention of Scratcha DVA, who released her early EPs and debut album on DVA Music.

Her sets and productions draw deeply from London's musical DNA while blending hip-hop, jazz, house and broken beat, earning her regular shows on NTS, Balamii, and a BBC Radio 1 Residency. Shy One has released standout music on Rhythm Section, Beats In Space, Astral Black, Apron Records, and Eglo Records, alongside acclaimed remixes for Nubya Garcia, Oscar Jerome, and Bella Boo.

Recent highlights include two explosive releases on Eglo, her highly praised RA podcast, appearances in Crack Magazine and British Vogue, plus huge festival and club bookings-Panorama Bar, GALA, Nuits Sonores, Glastonbury, and tours across Europe, the US, Australia and New Zealand. Her latest Numbers release, Gyallis Spiral / TNTC, earned heavy radio and club rotation.
