Afrosentrik returns for our first event of the year - and saying we're excited would be an understatement.

For this special party, we're taking it full circle, back to where Afrosentrik began. What started as a radio show within one of our favourite communities, Melodic Distraction, soon evolved into an event that made its debut at the Melodic Bar. Now, the space has been taken over by the Commune Family, and we can't wait to dance and celebrate in this beautiful venue once again.

Our first party of the year is themed Deep Rooted - a journey into the source. We'll be curating and delivering fresh, underground electronic sounds from South Africa and beyond.

Amapiano heads, we've got you covered. Expect the best selections inspired by the likes of Vigro Deep, Scotts Maphuma , Kabza De Small, Tyler ICU, Uncle Waffles, and many more.

Alongside Amapiano, anticipate carefully blended touches of 3-Step (Thakzin, Atmos Blaq, MORDA etc) Gqom (Distruction Boyz etc), Afrobeats (Asake, Tems etc) Kuduro, Afro House (Shimza, Black Coffee etc) etc creating a deep, immersive dancefloor experience.

For the event, your selectors will be your resident SOULFULTIZ, along with Gbedu Squad and MADDEH, who will be making her Liverpool debut.

MADDEH is one of Manchester's most talked-about and fast-rising DJs. Known for her journey-driven sets and deep selections, she brings the finest Amapiano, Private School, 3-Step, Afrotech, and Gqom. Come see why she's creating waves across the city
