This wasnt up to normal illuminaughty standard- there was no dancers or stage show, or stilt walkers! Normally Illuminaughty is like a crazy indoor festival but altho the night was better than ur average club night, it wasnt up to illuminaughty standard- even the face painting wasnt as good as normal. cant wait til its back at the Ritz!

What can i say... a truly amazing night. The Freestlyers played their first club gig together in over 10 years in manchester and what an event it was! the club was packe, the music awesome and atmophere electric...bring on March for another Lowdown & Dirty night!

It was great. A bit slow to get started.

Bad part was that if you bring someone that is not familiar to minimal, you want them to get there when the good part starts and continually gets better otherwise they just get bored. Not good for the music lover, nor for the image of this genre of music either. Even though the first DJ was good, he could only tailor to the people that truly like this type of music and are patient. That reduces the amount of people that will probably attend. This is the unfortunate thing about this type of music. Troy Pierce did a great job, continually tweaking it and bringing it up!

Overall though, it was a very good night. Nice venue, good staff, friendly crowd. Thank you

Zoo Brazil and Joe & Will Ask on the same bill always promised great things but they clashed..picked Zoo Brazil as he's a favourite..set started slow but built to a good finish..the night was brought to a brilliant climax with Sax Offender playing 'Man with the red face' with live sax. The fact that Sound Control has 3 large floors means a lot of intimacy and atmosphere is lost but overall had an enjoyable time.
