Factory Manchester Review Oh Dear!

Fancy a club where there's a 70% male crowd to 30% women? Edgy men off their face trying to hit on your girl friend all night. Promised guest DJ's that never actually show up when they're the main reason you went....then Factory is the perfect club for you! Big let down. I'd personally never go back. Oh yeah they also intentionally keep you queuing longer than needed so as they can show passers by how big the line is! Shocking.

The Fall

Bar prices a rip off, £4 for a warm can of red stripe.

The Fall were very good for the short time they were on, just under an hour - at £20 a ticket for a mid-week gig it certainly wasn't value for money.

It will take a special band to get me to this venue again.

One of the best nights I've ever been to in Manchester. There definitely need to be more nights like that more often. The DJ music was also great. Factory should have more nights with that kind of music aswell.

I don't know why they thought it was a good idea to pack it out so much. It's hard to enjoy yourself when you can't even move up the stairs. They also thought it would be a good idea to completely stop people from being able to go downstairs, which meant that people couldn't even leave it they wanted to - pretty sure that's illegal.. It would have been a great night if the club owners were a bit smarter and not letting so many people in in the future.

Bought tickets for Stone Roses after-party before reading reviews of FAC251 on here and was then slightly concerned about all the negative comments. I need not have worried, the club was excellent, packed to the rafters, great music in 3 rooms and a solid sound system. It was friendly, easy to get around and the drinks were excellent value. £34 for 12 drinks! Could only have been improved by playing some less obvious tunes but plenty of Manchester classics, Motown & banging dance tunes upstairs. Well worth a visit if youre in Manchester for the night.

Room way too small, claustrobic, couldn't see stage, just got banged about all night by drunks no matter how far back I went there just wasn't enough room so it just spoilt it.
