Northern Irish indie trio Two Door Cinema Club have been announced as Saturday night headliners for Parklife 2011, with Everything Everything also joining the bill.
Two Door Cinema Club will headline The Parklife Weekender’s main stage on day one of the festival, Saturday 11th June 2011, topping a rather impressive main stage bill that already includes Kelis, Katy B, Fenech Soler, Dutch Uncles and more.
Having bagged the Choice Music Prize in Ireland for their debut release Tourist History and a nomination in the BBC Sounds of 2010 poll, the band are enjoying success after success at the moment.

Next to join the main stage are the current apples in the Manchester music scene's eye, Everything Everything. Currently basking in the success of debut album Man Alive, which has wowed critics with its genre defying tracks, the Everything Everything boys are hot property at the moment. So catch them while they're, er, hot.
Both acts join a line up of over 90 bands, DJs and performers who between them represent the biggest and best in electronic, independent and crossover sounds.
For the second time in its two year history The Parklife Weekender is way on its way to another sell out, with nearly 70% of the tickets already snapped up. So if you're one of those people that likes to leave things fashionably late, we'd suggest that now might be a good time to get your ticket. Weekend tickets are just £58.50, which is pretty bargainous if you ask us.
