Birmingham may well be twinned with Frankfurt in Germany, but they really do take their appreciation of their sausage sizzling continental neighbours to a whole new level at Christmas time. Yes, this year once again sees the return of the annual Frankfurt Christmas Market at Victoria Square (only a few minutes from New Street Station) - the largest authentic German Christmas Market outside of Germany and Austria.

With over 90 stalls this really is a fantastic opportunity to get down to some serious Christmas Shopping in Birmingham – and a welcome change away from the Bullring!

The market hosts an eclectic mix of handcrafted toys, crafted gifts, candles, glasswork, decorations, textiles and more perfect for all your Christmas Shopping in Birmingham – littered with a very healthy mix of gluwein, bratwurst and roasted chestnuts. And to really get you in the mood, the bandstand is also in full swing in Victoria Square with concerts at lunchtime and in the evenings to fill your heart with seasonal goodwill.
