Nik Moss aka Groove Assassin ...
Originally from Sheffield the ‘Steel City’ in the heart of North England ,UK.
A true pioneer in the UK's Soulful/Deep House scene, well respected worldwide for his stellar productions and remixes on some of the biggest and best dance music labels.
Well known and revered for his unique, energetic & eclectic Dj sets.
More commonly referred to amongst the soulful house community as 'King of the Edits'.
Nik has carved out a name for himself with his very unique but recognizable sound both through his productions and also with his Dj sets. Very much a ‘Dj's Dj’ whilst always keeping one step ahead of the groove and delivering the goods where it counts on the dancefloors with a smooth blend of those illusive ‘GA Special Edits’.
The 'King of the Edits' title was clearly present when Nik dropped his recent take on Defected records hit record ''The Vision - Heaven'' Hallelujah In Heaven (Groove Assassin' Supernova Edit)
which was undoubtedly one of the biggest clubs tracks of 2023.
Nik's Edit instantly topped the charts at both Beatport & Traxsource and went onto be Defected's Top selling track of 2023 over at Traxsource.
With spring 24' releases forthcoming on Soulfuric Records, Hard Times Records & Groove Culture Records and his on Things May Change Imprint.

With his infectious charm and cheer Nik continues to tour the globe spreading his soulful deep house sound .. Nik has spread his sound far and wide and continues to do so across the world in countries such as :
USA , Canada , Australia , Indonesia , China , Malaysia , Japan , Lithuania , Portugal , Spain ,
Italy , Morocco , France , Ireland , Austria , Switzerland , Germany , Malta , Greece
Bulgaria , Netherlands , Belgium and many more.
A few of Nik’s upcoming gigs include the legendary ‘Groove Odyssey’ brand which see’s them touching down at London’s iconic superclub Fabric, Nik will also be at Groove Odyssey’s fantastic Ibiza festival in May.
May also see’s Nik travelling to Portugal for the UK based brand ‘Soul Fusion’ at their week long festival in Alvor.
Back on home turf Nik will be spinning in his original hometown in Sheffield in March, with the Ibiza sunkissed brand ‘Soul Heaven’ bringing some of their beach club magic to the Steel City.
