The Talking Tree

Talking Tree is operated by Talking Tree CIC, which is a Community Interest Company. This means that any profits can only be used for the benefit of the community. It was established by a group of people concerned about the climate emergency and the urgent need to take positive action to reduce CO2 emissions and establish a different relationship with the Earth on which we all depend. The organisation is managed by a group of directors. We welcome new groups and individuals who wish to be involved with the running of Talking Tree and we are currently recruiting volunteers. Our Aims Talking Tree CIC is working to; protect and preserve the environment to make our locality fit for generations to come. to advance the education of the public in the conservation, protection and improvement of the physical and natural environment. promote waste reduction, re-use, reclamation, recycling, use of recycled products and the use of surplus. promote the use of renewable energy sources. promote sustainable development and biodiversity. engage with all in our local community to help achieve the changes that are needed. create safer and more accessible spaces. promote a culture that is healthy, resilient and adaptable.
