About

Ben Hemsley

Standing out from the masses with his daring and captivating productions, Newcastle-based Ben Hemsley is a force to be reckoned with. Ben Hemsley is the hottest ticket in the UK house and techno scene right now. In 2023 Ben sold out b2b shows at Liverpool’s iconic Blackstone Street Warehouse, selling 7000+ tickets and achieving the two fastest-selling shows in the venue's history. He then went on to sell out WHP ludicrously fast with general on sale lasting 5 minutes!

This was just one of nine shows that made up Ben’s CONNECTION TOUR, a run of shows at the best venues in each city in the UK. Ben sold out the entire tour, selling close to 30,000 tickets in the process. Ben Hemsley also launched his own Ibiza residency in 2023 selling out every show and establishing one of the most successful events on the island! And with 2024 fast approaching there’s no sign of Ben slowing down anytime soon as he readies the return of his Ibiza residency in the Summer of 2024 and announces his biggest show to date, a massive 12,000 capacity headline show at Liverpool's Pier Head.

With luring melodies and flavours of old school rave nostalgia, Ben’s records have been highly coveted by the leading labels in dance music, with signings on Ministry of Sound, Trick, Arcane, Repopulate Mars, Stress, Sola & more, not to mention his own imprint Bebé. Inspired by an early exposure to his mothers passion for 90’s dance music, Ben’s originality has turned the heads of some of the biggest names in the scene such as Patrick Topping, Calvin Harris, Tiesto, Fatboy Slim, Eli Brown, blk, Deborah De Luca, DJ Daddy Trance, Denis Sulta, Green Velvet & Fisher to name a few.

His tantalising skills as a producer came to light in 2021 with hits ‘Through 2 You’, ‘Bebe Musica’ & ‘Love, Peace & Harmony’, not to mention his fan favourite 2022 release ‘Erase Me’. Ben became the pinup boy for BBC Radio 1. Accolades included a nomination for Breakthrough Artist of the Year at the Radio 1 Dance Awards, a Dance Anthems Hottest Record In The World, Playlist additions, multiple tracks of the week & more. Not just a talent producer, Ben also decided to create and launch his own label bebé with the aim of creating a space to delve deeper into his influences and become a tastemaker carving out his own scene and shining light on up and coming, like-minded artists.

Widely renowned as one of the hottest talents in dance music today, Ben strides confidently into 2024 excelling in every way he can

Ammara

London-based DJ and producer Ammara has broken through with a high-tempo, rave-ready, sound that combines elements of hard house and happy hardcore with trance, techno and pop melodies.

With releases on Ministry of Sound and Speedmaster Records, as well as being named a Radio 1 Future Star, Ammara is one of the most exciting new talents in dance music right now.

Born in the UK but growing up in Spain, returning to Britain as a teenager sparked a dance music obsession in her.

“I’d go to the Junction in Cambridge weekly with my friends,” she tells us. “And see all the big drum ‘n’ bass DJs. That really sparked something in me.”

Moving to London in her late teens to study acting, Ammara found herself immersed in London club culture, heading to Fabric every weekend and delving into electronic music sounds across the board. Her studies in acting paid off, landing herself a coveted role at the Globe Theatre but juggling an acting career with a growing interest in DJing and producing soon led to a crux.

“I was doing well in the play but then we had two weeks off and I went to Ibiza partying,” she says. “I loved acting and being in the play, but I just knew deep down that music was what I really wanted to do.”

Knuckling down to hone her production and DJing skills, her career took a steep upward curve when she sent her track ‘Acid Fantasy’ to Patrick Topping in 2020. The track was signed by his label Trick and in 2021, the ‘Acid Fantasy’ EP was released. In 2022, she released the tough and uncompromising ‘Techno Tree’ with Will Clarke and 2023 saw her unleash the single

‘Honey Child’, which even featured a remix from her hard house heroes Klubbheads. 2024 has already been proof that her sound is constantly evolving with her first single of the year a trance banger on Berlin’s underground Speedmaster label.

Known for her infectiously exuberant presence behind the decks, 2023 saw her play Creamfields, the main stage at Parklife, hold down an Ibiza Rocks residency alongside Ben Helmsley, become a regular at Amnesia, Ibiza and Warehouse Project and record a live stream for DJ Mag.

With a hefty release schedule already lined up for 2024, the next year will see Ammara take full creative control of her career.

“I want what I do to be about more than just the music.” she says. “I designed the cover for my release on Ministry and I want to bring the visual side of my art to the forefront. I want to do more videos, move into fashion, release more music and play as much as I can. I love all aspects of the creative process and can’t wait for what’s coming next
