Funhouse Comedy Club - Comedy Night

Funhouse Comedy Club returns to Foxlowe Arts Centre, Leek on Thursday June 6th for a laughter packed night.

Topping the bill is 2021 British Comedian of the Year Finalist, the incredible Scott Bennett who recently made his 'Live at the Apollo' debut, has his own Radio 4 show coming soon and is widely tipped in the industry as on the brink of the big time. He was also runner up in 2014 English Comedian Of The Year competition, Best Show Nominee Leicester Comedy Festival 2019 and support Michael McIntyre, Rob Brydon and Micky Flanagan in arenas This loveable rising star enthrals the crowd with his warm and engaging delivery, he is a Yorkshire live wire with an undeniable no nonsense logic, who was busy entertaining people through the lockdown, with his 'Stand Up From The Shed' online show.

Opening the night will be Christian Reilly who at the age of 15 joined a band to get laid. The Salvation Army had different ideas! He became an integral part of the Perrier award-winning show Otis Lee Crenshaw and the Black Liars, with comic/songster Rich Hall and travelled the world 3 times. Now as a solo performer he both captivates and amuses his audiences with his comic songs and witty punch-lines.

Completing the line-up is Ben Harrington, talking about his life experiences and family encounters as a frustrated middle-aged man.

Compere for the night will be the cheeky, chatty Dave Twentyman, who puts a big smile on everyone's face. Talking a lot about the subjects closer to home such as family life and friends.
