SOULJET presents: Shaka Loves You is an all day soulful house and disco extravaganza in the heart of Stockport's Underbank district.

About Shaka Loves You:

Hailing from the Scottish Highlands, Jamie & Marty joined forces in Glasgow in 2011 and have since taken their dynamic sound worldwide. Their sets blend the best of funk, soul, disco and house, mixing current tracks with timeless classics.

With Marty's live percussion adding a distinctive, visual energy, their unique shows bring a unique spark to the dancefloor that's both aural and visual.

Along the way they've supported such luminaries as George Clinton, De La Soul,
The Jacksons, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Crazy P, Craig Charles, Dave Lee, David Rodigan, Chali 2na, Mr Scruff, Eats Everything & The Reflex.

SOULJET founder Tom Harvey has been playing to crowds for 10 years across Manchester and the UK and has warmed up for the likes of Jocelyn Brown, Victor Simonelli and Nick Hussey. His decade-long love affair with house and disco music has led to the creation of SOULJET in 2026, a community for lovers of the soulful sound with Shaka Loves You proudly headlining this launch event.

Okenstrukzion

Originally from London, Oke (Okenstrukzion) is a DJ with 25 years' experience behind the decks. A soulful house obsessive, his musical knowledge and collection rivals that of world-renowned DJs. An Okenstrukzion set is a journey and an education through underground house with soul at its core.
