MARK SILCOX - Ex-scientist and part-time teacher, Silcox is known for his experimental, deadpan style of anti-humour.. If you were to meet him you would immediately realise that you were in the presence of a masterful academic, but someone who struggles with the subtleties of human connections and everyday life. Mark made it to the finals of the BBC New Comedy Awards 2013 and was one of several Asian comedians to be featured on BBC’S, The Big Asian Stand-Up. He has also appeared on Romesh: Comedians in Pubs Talking Comedy on BBC Three, An Immigrants guide to Britain on Channel 4 and Sick of It alongside Karl Pilkington on Sky1, amongst others. Mark is mainly known for his starring role as Joe Lycett’s side kick on channel 4’s consumer rights comedy show, Joe Lycett’s Got Your Back, with a clip of him challenging Burger King on their motto 'Have it your way' going viral and prompting a response from Burger King themselves. “Infectious weirdness” Bruce Dessau, Beyond the Joke HARRIET DYER - has worked on BBC3, BBC Live at The Fringe, BBC Radio 4, BBC Knock Knock, BBC Ouch, Absolute Radio and The Russell Howard Hour. She is an award winning comedian, writer and mental health advocate. Harriet has been a full time comic since 2013. She’s had numerous critically acclaimed shows, works for the majority of big clubs and festivals, regularly gigs overseas, and prides herself in being totally original! - An experience to behold, if you will. BRENNAN REECE - Brennan Reece is a bright young rising star who burst onto the comedy scene after winning English Comedian of the Year in 2015. The following year he was nominated for the prestigious Best Newcomer Award at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe for his sell- out debut show Everglow. Brennan is becoming a regular on screens across the UK having appeared on Live at the Apollo (BBC), Comedy Central at the Comedy Store (Comedy Central), The Stand Up Sketch Show (ITV), Roast Battle (Comedy Central) and Life Lessons (BBC). He has also featured in everything from popular TV shows like The Comedy Allstars (ABC), Skins (Channel 4) to feature films such as Soulboy, a film about the Northern Soul underground scene and was also a presenter on Top Gear Extra Gear (BBC) Brennan has supported Jason Manford, Rob Brydon and Joe Lycett on tour and his 2017 solo tour Everlong was extended into 2018 due to a hugely popular sell out run. This bright young comic from Manchester is being tipped for the top! MC SAM HARLAND - is seasoned professional on the circuit and no stranger to Outside The Box Stockport.
