Such a fun festival! Small venue but a dedicated crowd of chefs, butchers, meat experts, grillmasters and manufacturers. A great line-up with a mix of fun challenges and more serious presenters, and a real blast to have the opportunity to meet and greet some of the well-recognised names in the industry. Because it's a smaller festival site it's much more intimate and personal, so got chatting with some of the organisers and presenters demo-ing.  Lots of manufacturers there so if you're thinking of upgrading your outdoor cooking kit then it's  great to be able to see equipment in use, as well as taste the results. It's actually a  bit of a bargain as far as the ticket price goes, practically every stand was grilling something most of the day and handing out what they'd cooked! I've never eaten so much deliciously tender, seasoned and tasty meat at a venue before without having to pay through the nose for it. Will most definitely book next year! 
p.s. don't bother bring your vegetarian or vegan friend, this is a meat-eaters only event!!!

Review of Sizzlefest 2021 BBQ Festival

Thoroughly enjoyed the day. Would have appreciated more specials on the day 

Rubbish day, stayed for 1.5 hours and left. Not enough places to buy food and drink.  Steel smokers were the only place to actually buy bbq food; and they charged £8 for a fake wagyu burger with buns purchased from Aldi. 

The beer van was constantly 15+ people deep and had wait 25 minutes to get a drink. 

Started raining and not enough shelter for everyone and no where near enough seating. 

Really hoping someone one of the organisers see this; it could be so much more and in turn make so much more money.  The £25 entry fee just cannot justified. 

Basically a trade fair rather than a food bbq festival. Can't believe i paid £25 and drove 2 hours to come here. Well played who ever did the marketing, sucked us in. 



A great first year , totally professional and such an awesome vibe for the whole day
