Smug Roberts - Headliner

SMUG ROBERTS is known on the Manchester circuit as the Godfather of Comedy a man who has the Midas touch, a certain genius for understanding what makes memorable comedy, the anecdotes, the delivery, the humour and the succinct killer lines delivered with such aplomb that make even the most austere person roar with laughter.

Alongside his stand up he's gone on to star in 'That Peter Kay Thing' Channel 4, 'Cold Feet' ITV, 'Phoenix Nights' Channel 4, Steve Coogan's Film '24 Hour Party People' and Channel 4's Bafta award winning Buried, oh and let's not forget the great British institution that is Coronation Street.

An extraordinary comic (Manchester Evening News)

A brilliant act, he defies description and has to be seen (City Life)

A master storyteller (Radio Times)
Tom Wrigglesworth

With a disarmingly charming delivery and unforgettable appearance, Yorkshire funny man Tom Wrigglesworth became a major star when he won a highly acclaimed Sony Award for Best Radio Comedy recently and Tom has won many awards including the Chortle Best Show Award, and a nomination for the main Edinburgh Comedy Award. This led to a sell out tour of the UK, and appearances at the New Zealand Comedy Festival and prestigious Montreal Comedy Festival.

Further television credits include being a regular contributor on The Discovery Channel , the Edinburgh Comedy Fest Live, Russell Howard`s Good News and The Comedy Gala all for BBC Three as well as The World Stand`s Up, Edinburgh and Beyond and three series of The Comedy Store all for Comedy Central.

Since winning the Channel 4 new comedian competition So You Think You're Funny in 2003, Tom is now firmly established as one of the most original, talented and respected comedians on the UK and International comedy circuit. Tom is also a regular host of Radio 4`s Comedy Club, and has also guested on BBC Radio 4's Loose Ends, Newsquiz, The Unbelievable Truth, The Now Show, Act Your Age, It's Your Round, The Infinite Monkey Cage, You and Yours as well as BBC Radio 2's Out To Lunch and Claudia Winkleman's Arts Show.
