La Rumba's 7th Birthday: DJ Seinfeld, Romare (live)

La Rumba celebrate 7 years in the game in March with a world-class lineup spanning house, electronica, techno and more from two of the best in the game with some of our nearest and dearest completing the lineup.

First up, we have DJ Seinfeld flying in from Sweden. Under these aliases you’ll find sweeping emotive cuts, verdant dancefloor workouts and discerning dips into jungle and breaks. DJ Seinfeld’s sound is ultimately guided by an idea of authenticity, true to the spirit of the early house pioneers which has taken the world by storm with notable performances at Boiler Room, Lost Village, and Mixmag.

Next, we have Romare joining us for a very special live show that we’ve been looking to pin down for 5 years now which has eloquently landed on our 7th birthday. As Romare, Archie Fairhurst’s working practice is rooted in collage, taking a cut-and-paste approach to production by building vivid new forms out of existing material. Playful and immediate, but also deeply researched and compelling, his albums and performances reaching back to 2012 unfurl as a patchwork of inspirations and obsessive lines of enquiry made up of a global panoply of source material.
