Russell Dennett, was one of the longest serving members of The Human League. He had a very prolific 10 years in the band from 1986-1996, first and foremost as a talented guitarist and keyboard player in their live set up. But as his role developed he also contributed to the songwriting for both the Romantic? and Octopus albums, including fans favourites A Doorway, Men Are Dreamers and Cruel Young Lover.
The Venue is the stunning St Andrew's Church which is a Grade I listed Anglican parish church, initially built in 1160.
There are monuments within the church: an effigy of a knight with a sword brought from Boston, a cannonball from the Battle of Solebay, and many monuments of the Sheffield family.
Like many Church’s it has learnt to adapt and is now a community space for local people. St Andrews Church has very kindly allowed EGO Entertainments to showcase some of their events here for all the public to enjoy.
