Now in its third year, The Laughienda brings another huge night of Christmas comedy to Preston, featuring CHRIS BROOKER and MORGAN REES

This softly spoken Welsh comedian boasts a densely packed arsenal of impressive one-liners and hilarious short stories. Morgan has appeared on BBC Radio 4 in the prestigious finals of the BBC New Comedy Award. He was also a runner-up in So You Think You’re Funny 2017, and a finalist in Chortle Student Comedy Award.

A gifted performer, Chris Brooker has taken his unique mix of comedy and improvisation to stages all over the world.

After a decade on the UK comedy circuit Chris has forged a fine reputation for himself as a stand-up comedian and compère. His versatility has seen him play to audiences of all sizes and backgrounds, winning them over with his infectious enthusiasm, swift wit and immense likeability. Dubbed comedy’s ginger Viking by a promoter, he really is a larger than life character.

Alex Camp has been called “one of the best musical acts currently on the UK comedy circuit” - a growing reputation earned by fusing a genuine skill for tight, lean joke writing with excellent original comedy songs. 2024 saw his show “Songs About Love and Food” nominated for Best Variety Show at the Leicester Comedy Festival and enjoyed a sell-out run at the Edinburgh Fringe.
