About

The righteous return of El Diablo's Social Club continues with an interstellar line up of Red Laser Disco, Abigail Ward and Neil Diablo himself at Todmorden's Golden Lion. Occupying a unique place in both UK clubland and the space time continuum, the Golden Lion is one of El Diablo's favourite venues and the only logical choice for their first party proper since returning to British shores. The fact that this will be the first EDSC in the pub-rave paradise more or less guarantees it's gonna go off like a rocket. And who better to pilot that rocketship than Manctalo originators Red Laser Disco, the trusty crew responsible for structural damage at White Hotel, Panorama Bar, NTS and every decent nightspot in-between - expect bass heavy, synth filled heaters throughout. Sharing the bridge is sonic archivist / serious selector Abigail Ward, whose recent debut as Ghost Assembly on Ruf Kutz reminded the whole galaxy just how good house music can be. Possessing a musical mega brain and a record collection which puts us all to shame, Abigail blows minds every time she steps behind the decks. On top of all that, you get the world class Neil Diablo doing what he does best, and a 50% chance of a UFO sighting from the smoking area. Maximum buzz.
