ecently refurbished to a very high standard, the Waggon & Horses in Redhill is surely a pub everyone in Nottingham should know, with its great location at the top of Mansfield Road. If you haven’t spotted the fantastic job local pubco the Pub People Company have done recently then it’s definitely time you checked it out. The exterior has undergone a fantastic transformation with a big paint job and new signage, as well as some beautiful outdoor furniture and a revamped smoking shelter. Moving indoors the pub looks incredible with a fantastic redecoration job making the pub feel like a very traditional ale-house yet retaining some very modern qualities. The addition of a new cask pump onto the bar means they now sell five cask ales permanently, with at least two being LocAle’s from breweries such as Blue Monkey, Castle Rock, Nottingham Brewery and Dancing Duck.
