Commune presents: AISHA & HØLEIGH

Commune is Newcastle’s most highly anticipated night. Commune implements a no-filming policy but will provide professionally collected, downloadable content post-event, so attendees will be able to relive the occasion.

Introducing AISHA, a DJ and producer hailing from Glasgow. AISHA’s sound is ‘trippy euphoria’ - taking you on a trip through pumping psychedelic techno and trance. Rolling basslines, fast BPM’s and soaring melodies are present throughout her sets, which are as versatile as they are incendiary, leading her to consistently play and hold residencies in Europe’s best underground clubs such as RSO and Sub Club, as well as playing for big events such as Teletech and Verknipt. She has released on labels such as Taapion, Maison Close, Dusk Records, Teletech, Underzone + Speedmaster to name a few, as well as winning Best Electronic at 2021’s Scottish Alternative Music Awards.

Introducing HØLEIGH, A prolific name on Manchester’s music circuit. Ismus and para//e/ resident HØLEIGH builds her sets with exquisitely-selected grooves, rumbling baselines and euphoric trance. Having made her well-due debut on HÖR in October and played in clubs such as RSO, FOLD, The Warehouse Project & more, HØLEIGH’s schedule continues to grow by the minute. Accelerating from start to finish and constantly shifting through the gears, HØLEIGH’s intuition when performing resonates with dance floors and its punters. All of which stem from her dynamic and idiosyncratic way of mixing.

Supported by a strong lineup of up-and-coming artists from within the Newcastle scene. No frills, no-nonsense, just pure, unadulterated trance.
