The Yard Thing

The first of our family friendly Hip Hop community events @theyard_mcr. A Co-Op of Artists, DJs, Dancers and Traders coming together to bring you some original flavour. Extolling the values of Original Hip Hop Street Culture; Peace, Love, Unity and Having Fun. 

Expect a funky vinyl soundtrack from amazing local and internationally renowned DJs, including @djkhanfu with a 45 set, Electro from Cheetham Hill legend #JohnnyJay, Dynamic Duo @jamiegroovement and DJ Ana May and Turntable Grandmaster @tommy_p_nuts. There’ll be open dance cyphers for all ages, with support and invitations from the best in the scene. Live Beatmaking from Manchester’s own @lone_apostrophe, plus @fthmlss. Live Percussion from Ben @we_are_bepo. T-shirt Screen Printing workshop with @dos82_official. Kids Graffiti workshop with Get Busy @mista_rex365. Hip Hop Medallion making workshop with @mancuniaugly. Clothing and Sneaker Market stalls from the likes of Manchester’s own #BEPO and @TrainerVault1. A Pop up exhibition from Hip Hop Artist, @tinyeyecons. @hollpickles is supplying the delicious Fu-Schitzels in the Yard. Join us and bring the family. It’s free!
