The Snug Live presents Chimaeras — a band formed from the loose threads of several Manchester outfits, finding their way back to each other more than 30 years later.
Each member arrives with their own history — indie, shoegaze, post-punk — shared stages, separate lives, careers, families, and time doing what time does best. Now reunited, they’re not chasing hype or nostalgia. Just the feeling that pulled them into music in the first place.
Expect loud guitars, repetition, space and melody. Songs built on mood as much as hooks. Echoes of Manchester’s darker corners with warmth still beating underneath — drawing from shoegaze, indie and that unmistakable Joy Division-era atmosphere.
This is music made for the love of it. No pressure. No posing. Just people who still believe in the power of a song and the room it fills.
Support comes from Dead Kalm, a young, upcoming punk band bringing raw energy to open the night.
