YDNY - Your Disco Needs You

After the sold out 7th Birthday party, we will be back on Saturday April 20th and joining us this month we have an all star female guest DJ line up who are also two up and coming local DJs that are an absolute bundle of energy and joy.

Firstly we have Just Kiri who has played for us a few times before and always a pleasure to welcome her back to YDNY. She has been setting the disco world alight down at the Pen & Pencil playing for the Midnight Riot posse. Just Kiri is a reet proper Yorkshire lass who's heart was stolen by Manchester. Kiri is convinced her heart is a disco ball. Her love and passion for all things disco and house and for sharing it with others has led her to the centre of the Manchester scene. Expect upbeat and high energy from both the tracks she plays and her as she dances along. The one you wont be saying after her set is.... "I wish she'd played more lyrics!!!"

SEZBENNY has emerged as a force to be reckoned within just two short years of DJing. By day, she graces the stage as a Flautist in The Hallé Orchestra, and by night SEZBENNY transforms into a DJ, taking the nightlife by storm. She has also graced iconic stages, including The Warehouse Project, We Out Here Festival, and at Manchester and Stockport Pride. Her vibrant sets have become a staple at renowned nights such as Sticky Heat, Studio Honey, What She Said, Not Bad For A Girl, Sisters of House Music, Galactica, and Love Hangover. You can catch her all over Manchester, as she has DJ'd at The Yard, Ramona, The Carlton Club, Band on The Wall, NAM Downstairs, Exhibition and Redlight to name a few.

Known for her infectious enthusiasm, SEZBENNY captivates audiences with a diverse musical selection. From Afro/Latin house to Italo disco, and the timeless allure of electronic and acid house vibes, she weaves together sets that that will definitely get your bum wiggling. Her commitment to the classics, coupled with an adventurous spirit, ensures that every set is a journey through the rich history of dance music.

SEZBENNY has an unwavering passion for both classical and electronic realms, she brings a unique and refreshing perspective to the turntables and a promise of an unforgettable musical journey.

In addition, to assist on deck duties will be your usual suspect residents Rob & Neil.
