About

If cosy queer cinema, sapphic BDSM-loving entomologists, excessively lush cinematography, and tonally awkward odes to European erotica are for you, then join us for next month's Mondo Queero.

Peter Strickland’s The Duke of Burgundy could be simply described as an homage to Jess Franco and the likes, but there's something gently off-kilter always bubbling beneath the surface and a dry humour that makes it something much more original and surprising.

And the original score by Cat's Eyes (Faris Badwan from The Horrors and Canadian soprano Rachel Zeffira) - I'm just gonna put it out there - is one of the most beautiful movie scores ever.

The screening takes place in the Green Room at The Carlton Club.

Doors - 7pm

Last entry (sort of) - 7.15pm

Screening - 7.30pm

Music and chat in the Green Room until late.
