Think you’ve got what it takes to take the stage? Get Pitched! is Manchester’s most electric musical theatre night… and YOU are the show!

Tucked just off the heart of Canal Street, the basement of Oscars Bar Manchester transforms into a hidden world of candlelight, vintage screens, bowler-hat lampshades, and vibrant show tunes.

On the 1st & 3rd Thursday of every month, Get Pitched! invites you to choose from over 250 musical theatre and film classics, pick your key, grab a cocktail then Get Pitched! — singing with a live professional accompanist. This is your chance to step into the spotlight and sing!

Hosted by the sensational drag artist Marie La Rae, whose cabaret charisma has made her one of Manchester's most beloved performers, alongside powerhouse vocalist and pianist Adam O'Shea — a graduate of Chetham's School of Music and the Guildhall School of Music and Drama — who accompanies every act live on stage. Together they create an atmosphere that is equal parts welcoming, hilarious, and genuinely thrilling.

Please note: admission is subject to venue capacity and management discretion. Tickets do not guarantee entry or seating. Limited tables are available on a first come, first served basis or by contacting the venue directly in advance. Standing room is available throughout the evening. Venue is downstairs and accessible via stairs only.
