We welcome James Zabiela back to Joshua Brooks - this time after dark. One of the most technically gifted DJs in dance music returns to the basement this Saturday!

Two decades deep, Zabiela's reputation is built on what he does behind the decks. Pioneer Product Test Advisor since 2005, instrumental in shaping the CDJ-2000, and consistently called out as the benchmark for technical skill married to exploratory taste. Resident Advisor put it cleanly: he turns CDJs into a bona fide instrument in a way only a handful of DJs ever have. Loops, live edits, layered effects, harmonic mixing - performance, not playback.

The pedigree runs deep. Mentored by Sasha after Lee Burridge passed him a mix. Renaissance: Utilities. The Masters Series. Balance 029 - Compilation of the Year in DJ Mag's Best of British Awards.
