Manchester Winter Wonderland

Manchester has a new Winter Wonderland which opens Friday 19th December 2025 right through to Saturday 3rd January 2026 opening every day (except Christmas Day 25th December).

Catering for all ages there’s something for everyone, as Winter Wonderland at the Irish World Heritage Centre becomes a must-do festive calendar event, right in the heart of Manchester.

For their first ever visit Carousel Funfairs have brought together an amazing selection of rides and attractions for their guests to enjoy and admission is totally free!

“Best of all,” says organiser Gary Gore, “the rides and attractions once inside Winter Wonderland are all free for a one-off admission charge of £10.99 for up to two and a half hours of fantastic fun if you arrive at the start of a session!”

Families will love testing their driving skills on the Dodgems, the Waltzer and Snowstorm SuperBob will always proves popular with the families. There will also be a family Roller Coaster, a Fun House, the new look Cliffhanger, and for the thrill seekers the Freak Out! an amazing selection of children’s rides. Food and games and Bungee Trampolines are excluded from the wristband offer but with admission being free if mum and dad don’t want to ride or buy a wristband, they can always enjoy a coffee or something to eat while the kids are enjoying the rides at the many different food stalls offer.

Every day there will be three sessions from 12 noon–2.30pm, 2.30 - 5.00pm, and 5.00 - 7.30pm. Wristbands are on sale for a one-off charge of £10.99 Height restrictions apply on some attractions.

In the run-up to Christmas there will also be entertainment at the centre with street bands, live performers, and creative family workshops across the event
