The Len Johnson celebrity football match is back for its third instalment this summer!

Join us at Broadhurst Park on Sunday 12th July 3PM Kick Off as a star studded team of TV personalities, Musicians, Actors, Ex Premier league footballer and YouTube creators take on FC United legends in an action-packed day of football and entertainment.

Previous events have featured big names from sport, TV and online raising over £20,000 so far towards a statue honouring Manchester’s uncrowned boxing boxing champion , Len Johnson.

Despite winning nearly 100 fights, Len was denied the chance to compete for a British title due to racial discrimination. Beyond boxing, he was a powerful voice for civil rights and anti-racism in Manchester.

This event is part of a wider mission by the Len Johnson Campaign C.I.C. to raise £150,000 for the statue and celebrate Len’s incredible legacy.
